Thai Yoga Therapy which is also refered to as "Thai Massage" or " Lazy man stretching" is sophiticated healing arts comprising hundreds of positions and techniques that provide whole body healing. The practice starts and ends with Puja which is achknowledgment and honouring of the client and the space. When there is an intention set for love, compassion, joy, and equanimity at that very moment for the client, it allows the impossible to be possible. The intention creates direction, and then for the practioner to do the action of Thai yoga therapy can be a demonstation of those four states of being. This practice awakens the mind , body, and spirit. This allows a person to take personal responsibility for their health and well being by having more knowledge of whats going on in their body.
In a sessions the practitioner will:
-apply pressure along the sen lines (energy lines)
-use rhythmic rocking
-deep stretching
-increase range of motion
-focus the breathing
-do positional releases
-compression and decompression in the joints
